Hike up the river valley of the last remaining unlogged old growth watershed in west Skidegate Narrows. A luscious old growth forest, salmon, birds and bears, await discovery. Several years ago, plans were made by logging companies to punch roads into Government Creek and log. The concerns of local people were voiced loudly and clearly in opposition to this proposal and to date, no logging has occurred here. We urge people to come out - to see, touch, smell, hear and feel - to experience ancient rainforest life.
